These terms cover use of the H·AI·K·U plugin and the website at haikumethod.ai. Both are maintained by GigSmart, Inc.

The software

H·AI·K·U is open-source software licensed under the Apache License 2.0. The license governs your use of the source code. The software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind — express or implied — including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

No guarantees

GigSmart makes no guarantees about uptime, availability, continued maintenance, or fitness for any particular purpose. This is an open-source project, not an enterprise SaaS product.

The website

The website is informational. There are no user accounts, no paid features, and no commercial transactions.

AI-generated outputs

The plugin orchestrates work with Anthropic's Claude via Claude Code. You are responsible for reviewing, validating, and using any AI-generated outputs. GigSmart is not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or consequences of AI-generated code or content.

Anthropic's terms

The plugin interacts with Claude through Claude Code. Your use of Claude is subject to Anthropic's terms of service — that's a separate relationship between you and Anthropic.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GigSmart, Inc. and its contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, arising from your use of the software or website.

Changes

These terms may be updated. Changes will be posted to this page with a new effective date. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.
